On Fleetnet, for some weird reason, I can't seem to pick up the Pontypool tower, although it is closer to me than the Sunderland one. According to the fleetnet zone 1 map @ http://home.ica.net/~phoenix/wap/Fleetnet/Fleetnet Zone 1.JPG I am basically right smack-dab in the middle of the sector to the left of the Pontypool tower, however I get nothing - only Sunderland, which comes in perfectly clear though.
Is there a reason for this? I have a discone as well as a dedicated 144/440 about 9 feet in length mounted above my roof.
And yes, I am programming it in properly. I've done it manually as well as ARC. BTW, this is on a 396T and everything else works fine. I'm guess I'm just not within range, just want somebody to confirm it for me.
