ONQ Unknown TG's Thread

Hello Everyone! I am posting some OnQ Talkgroups here that are unknown or need further identification.

Please post the TGID and RID and Aliases seen over the data stream (If applicable) and the tower(s) you heard it on so it can be determined if it muti site or site-specific

So far I have heard these from the CN Tower site;

290 - Very active; appears to be some sort of school bus company.

651 - Concrete trucks (I've seen "RMX1xx" As well as "MARKHAM BASE" and "EAST TOR BASE".

1336 and 1339 also appear to be concrete delivery.

For Milton Site;

433 - school bus company

The only TG I have seen on the Hamilton side is 651 but there has only been 2 hits in the past 2 weeks on it.. RID 3410 (Brampton Base) and 3411 (RMX015). Could TG 433 be Voyago? I see in the DB that they are listed on TG 432 as well.. and it looks like from their web page that they do cover some of the Halton Region school bus routes.

Some unknown TG's I have seen on OnQ the past couple month or so on the Hamilton tower.
404 RID's in the 412x, 413x and 414x range.. RID 4121 "DISPATCH" is the only one that has name assigned to it but lots of RID's with just numbers assigned to it
651 As above in post #1
1137 RID 11221 "K/W ONE 1" and 10953 "THAMES CNTR 3"

I have been seeing 1136/1137 & 1138 pop up the past few days on the Hamilton site now. I am not sure if they are connected but I have a feeling they are related but so far I haven't seen any RID overlapping yet but they all came online around the same time..

On TG 1137 I have seen 11207/11208/11209/11210 all have names related to their RID.. They are listed as Ancaster 4/5/6 and 7 respectively.

1143 RID 11227 "HAM/NIAGARA 2"
1255 RID 9695 "BASE 2"
1470 RID's in the 737x, 738x, 739x and 740x range.. RID 7373 "Spare 1" is the only one that has a name assigned to it but lots of RID's with just numbers assigned to it
3044 (Also seen TG 3035 to 3039 and TG 3043 to 3048 used the same company) but I only see activity on 3044 currently. RID's in the 1235x, 1236x and 1237x range. RID 12354 "PORT 4", RID 12357 "PORT 7", 12358 "PORT 8", 12362 "PORT 12", 12372 "PORT 22" and 12373 "PORT 223"

Another addition to 404.. it is listed I believe in the DB as Medical Transportation which is what it sounds like to me. When they are transporting someone they are usually somewhere in Niagara Region. RID 4121 still shows up as "DISPATCH" but I have recently seen RID 4143 as "TBD 2" and RID 4144 as "TBD 3" and all the rest are just numbers. I did look in the Hamilton and Niagara Region for medical transportation companies that could match TBD with it's initials but couldn't find anything..

So looking at my my old post here and my logs on my radio.. its looks like TG 1137 is connected with TG 1141 and TG 1142. I see a bunch of overlapping RID's. The only notes I have is for TG 1141 I have heard snow plows ops in Hamilton on it.

A new TG has popped up on the Hamilton Site, TG 1158.. Seeing RIDs in the 1150x and 1151x range. The ones so far that I have seen named are 11514 G GUYS 12, 11516 G GUYS 5, 11519 G GUYS 7, 11520 G GUYS 8, 11522 G GUYS 10, 11523 G GUYS 11, 11525 G GUYS 13 & 11527 G GUYS 15. Not sure what this company is yet.. and not sure what G GUYS means yet either..

I'll bet it's Grounds Guys Lawn Care & Landscaping | The Grounds Guys It's a huge franchise so you might see this popping up elsewhere.

My guess is they would be snowplowing this time of the year.

I will have to keep an eye on that talkgroup but it hasn't been used since Friday.

There seems to be talkgroup in the 1137/1141/1142 group of company.. I saw a single hit on TG 1140 with RID 11246 (HAM9000-4) which also has been on TG 1141.

Ya I believe you are right.. when we had the storm a few days ago this channel was active in the later evening with plow ops.

404 is in the database as Medical Transportation.. They do sound like some type of Medical Transportation. I do hear them reguarlly on the Hamilton tower. Could this be? Voyago Medical Transporation? They do have a base here in Hamilton.

Matt has 1138, popped up for you at all?

Also, appears 207 is some sort of courier also logged the following off of CN tower today;

1098 - sounds like trucking

1162 - not sure what this is

390 - some sort of construction

244- not sure what this is, only popped up one or twice

323, 324, and 325 all appear to be labeled "ICI" with corresponding truck numbers. I will have to further investigate who this is.

Ya it has but only a handful of times.. I have noticed that 1137-1145 all seem to be the same company with lots of similar RID names. 1141 seems to be the main channel around Hamilton with over 1700 hits over the past month and a half.

Could it be Dufferin Construction/Concrete.. I looked them up and it looks like they do have offices here in Hamilton, Kitchener and in the Thames Centre around London which 3 where in the RID name.

Sorry Matt, my apologies. I was referring to 1338 and 1339, it is certainly some sort of co concrete company. Like you said, could very well be Dufferin. I indenfided their Mississauga tg a while back also. Maybe they've expanded their use?

Oh 1338 and 1339 I thought you meant 113x-114x. As for 1338 I have heard it in the past but no idea where as I have it in my radio but it's not logged in my ProScan.

158 - Always hearing two guys talking to each other and nothing else. Sounds possibly like some sort of construction.

272 - RID's come up as a vehicle names such as "Silverado" also saw "KING WRENCH" displayed. They were talking about laying stone on Greenfield Avenue in North York. It must be some sort of landscaping company

390 - Some sort of security, possibly at a plant or perhaps manufacturing. Heard something the other day about starting CPR and the location of the AED. seeing RID displayed as "OMP-LINKER".

I am seeing TG 45, 47 & 48 (RID's in 4xx) active right now on the Hamilton site with some type of event operation. Right now they are talking on TG 48 about needing a golf cart for someone who has some charity gifts. I am seeing the Concession Streetfest and Ancaster Heritage Days are going on today here.

I am still hearing TG 45-48 today.. almost sounds like it's some type of marathon or something like that.. I am also hearing today TG 74 & 75 active but not sure if it's related but also seeing RID's in the same range as TG 45-48.

I'm monitoring the Walsh Tower and I'm picking up TG 1433 NAPA auto parts service. Norwich and Ingersoll bases mentioned.
