Ontario AMBER Alert in effect.

Niagara Regional Police Service is requesting an AMBER alert in relation to an abducted child. Victim is Layla SABRY, described as female, white, 9 yrs, 4”2, thin build, brown hair, brown eyes. She was last seen yesterday at 6 pm, at 6 King St., Welland. Suspect is her mother, Allana HAIST. No vehicle description available.

If located, please call 911, Niagara Police Service or OPP.

Shoot, I wish I was listening closer, but I think I heard both OPP and WRPS report the child was located. Just got in the car when the two calls came in.
