ontario bcd436 hp gps plug replace

gents i recently sent my bcd436hp to lectron radio (Uniden dealer)in Peterborough Ontario to have the gps plug replaced. I got it back and now i have the clock issue back which i had repaired under uniden repair campaign and the gps does not work. i called them with this issue and they will take it back for repair at no charge. I am just wondering if anyone else has used this company for any of there repairs. This is the first time i have used them.

Sounds like they might have replaced your board with an older board that didn't have the clock fix.

I've dealt with Lectron a few times and they've always been good.

Thanks i will mention that to them, they will pay for return and the repair. I talked to them and they said they had no way of checking that the gps was functioning before they shipped it back because they are inside a steel building so i will send the gps with the radio and maybe they can check it in one of there cars. hopefully they still got the old board if that was the case. I would have thought they would check everything before shipping
