Using Site: Houston Public Safety Arcola

I can't get
- Fort Bend County Sherriff
- Missouri City

Silence. Nothing.

Also can't get Brazoria County Sherriff Dispatch using:
- Houston Public Safety Iowa Colony

Using an the regular stubby antenna and also an external car/whip antenna.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

Fort bend and Brazoria county are not on the houston public safety sites as those sites carry phase 2 traffic. Try the Harris county simulcast sites or Fort Bend County simulcast ones. Those are for phase 1 traffic which is what Missouri and Brazoria use.

Brazoria Sheriff should be on the simulcast for the county.

Have you tried to listen to the 162 MHz. national weather stations? That will tell you if the scanner is even working at all. These stations are wide band FM in the analog mode.

Yep theyre working. I can get manvel and pearland. Just not Brazoria or Fort Bend sheriff

If you're hearing Manvel and Pearland you're still on a Zone 3 (Houston) site. The rest of Brazoria County is only carried on Zone 1 sites.

Don't know where you are in the county, but if you're on the east side try the Galveston Simulcast as well. It tends to have better coverage on that side than the Brazoria simulcast does.

I've been using each of these individually in each playlist, so theres no confusion as to what is being used.

1 058 (3A) Brazoria County Simulcast

1 052 (34) Harris County Central Simulcast

1 054 (36) Galveston County Simulcast

Same results on all of them. 058's signal is a bit weak.

Zero, Zilch on anything.

I set up a playlist with a wildcard and just the brazoria simulcast site. No luck there either.

My old PRO18 used to stop receiving P25 sites and the fix was to replace the SD card.. It would hear analog traffic just fine not P25 until the card change it has done that 3 times to me over time.
