DSD-FME
Thanks. It's not got the prettiest UI but is relatively easy to install (as linux apps go) and has proven very good for headless streaming.
If it weren't for the preconceived notions of Linux being difficult due to it being different, I'd say its easier to install and get started with rx.py than it is DSDPlus. Running git clone and ./install.sh is so much quicker and easier than extracting password protected zip files and downloading other zip files and putting all the stuff into one directory. This particular forum is literally just page after page on DSDPlus technical support, but at least with Boatbod OP25, you get the support from boatbod. Hell, he even took my capture.bin and MADE OP25 work Duke Energy's TDMA Control Channel in like, half a freaking day.
Aside from importing RR databases, you still end up having to configure start up scripts for trunking systems and have groups/sites/frequencies loaded into files and so on if desired. I'm definitely not trying to say one is better than the other by any means, and both have features the other one lacks, so not trying to open that can of worms or flaming war up.
I will admit though, one thing I could never quite figure out is the layout structure for the OP25 software directory, with the op25 folder having both gr-op25 and gr-op25_repeater and having to go all the way to apps to get to the user end stuff.
