I have an Icom OPC478UC B on the way for the RX7 and R2. Will it also work for the Alinco DjX11, DjX2000 (with adapter) and Yaesu VR500 ?
I have a cheap prolific cable that was handling all of these no problem until I did a rebuild of my Virtualbox XP and Win7 machines. Another few days of headaches and I’d probably get the prolific back up. Btw using current Virtualbox under macOS Ventura it has to be (helps to) run from terminal “sudo virtualbox” to get i/o with usb cables. Uniden 436, 325, Icom R30 and Kenwood D74 have all been communicating fine. Even the TRX 1 is working better than in previous Virtualbox versions.
I’ll soon find out if it’s compatible when it arrives but curious if anyone is using the Icom cable on other brands.
