Open Sky

Metro is testing the Open Sky here and there in the valley. They have posted the frequencies here in RR, but I am unable to program these frequencies in either my Pro-97 or PSR 500. What type of radio does it take to temporary listen to them, or is it not possible? I know if they ever go to this system we will not be able to monitor. I think someone sold metro a bill of goods on this system, but then at the rate Metro moves on things, it just might be a while befor they decide to use a system they do not have any control over

Unfortunately you can't listen to that system with any scanner. Enjoy listening to Metro now while you can because once they switch over, you'll probably never hear them again.

The audio can only be decoded by the equipment sold for the proprietary system.
