How do I "open with" .p96 & PsrEdit500 on my computer? Hope I'm in right thread for this. Sorry if I'm not....

It sounds like you need to set defaults in Windows.
For Win10 Home (which is what I have), you would go to Settings / Apps / Default Apps then at the very bottom, Choose Default Apps by File Type. The other Win10 variants are probably pretty close

Windows 10 and earlier - The only way I can open a .p97 file is within the Win 97 program (which must be open). And I can't save a .p97 file as any other type of file. "Open with" doesn't provide any option that works. Also, when I went to setting defaults, neither appeared on the list(s).
