Monitoring 856.339 in Mooresville hearing what sounds like high bps Opensky channel.....can't figure it would be anything else....MDT?

Just wondering if anyone knew what this is?

Found similar signals at 856.614, 857.339 and 858.289. Center Freqs may be slightly off (its a 10 dollar HDTV tuner)

Using RTL-SDR 8200T with SDR# and Diamond Discone.

If this has already been discussed or I am posting in the wrong area my apologies
Thank you

Oh ok. Thanks for the info.

I hear that Opensky is a tough cookie. Any decoding (not voice) software available?

Think you mean Duke...

SHP has MDT stations on 800 that are a constant buzz. Duke Energy has OpenSky which is a constant buzz, but it changes pitch every 2 seconds or so.

Some sources say OpenSKY TDMA has encryption from the ground up, not real sure, but I know it is plagued with problems.

Sounds like what I'm hearing......slight pitch changes every ~5 seconds....sounds like 3 pitch levels. One of the ...i guess "control channels" seems to have 3 different amplitude levels. Every time it changes pitch, the signals amplitude changes. Weird....
