A multi-service search and rescue training exercise being conducted this month. KPHO 5 just had a story on it. There's supposed to be a lot of activity related to this tomorrow, Saturday the 10th.
This may be a good time to search through the aviation, military and goverment bands. (VHF-Low, 118.0-136.0, 138.0-144.0 & 148.0-150.70 MHz, 162.0-174.0 MHz, 225.0-380.0, 380.0-400.0, and 406.0-420.0 MHz. Don't forget to monitor the current, and look for new, DEMA and interagency talkgroups on the APS trunked system statewide. Check the AIRS and other conventional interoperability frequencies as well.)
All services, along with the Civil Air Patrol, will be involved. I'm not sure if non-military agencies, such as DHS (CBP), DPS, sheriff's office's or the like will be involved or not.
