Is it possible to receive 1OPS36 from Wasaga Beach?
I am programmed correctly, just not receiving calls. Any info very much appreciated

What scanner?
They patch talkgroups together. Run your scanner in Search mode.

Yep, receiving Caledon with Midland on 1OPS35, just not getting Nottawasaga for some reason. (Alliston talkgroup).

Try 1OPS32 as Nottawasaga is usually patched with Dufferin.

Three bars signal strength and showing T on my Whistler TRX-1.
ALL QUIET, NO VOICE.

What site are you listening on? If you are listening off Penetanguishene or Edgar, there simply may be no radios affiliated to those sites using those talkgroups, or the talkgroups up there may not be patched with them. Someone more local may know best. I imagine these are likely coming off Primose, I've heard them plenty off King City.

Yep, I’m gonna say the Edgar and Penetanguishene Sites. 1OPS10, 1OPS13 come in perfectly,West Grey,Bruce from Wasaga.
Is there a way to receive from Primrose Tower or physically too far away from tower?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I would doubt that Nottawasaga would be on the Penetang tower although it could be possible.

Check your scanner to make sure the Edgar and Primrose towers are programmed in.

Are you receiving a good signal from Primose? What antenna are you using?

It’s not telling you what tower you are listening to. Do you have the CC/VC selected in the settings? If you really want to see if you can hear Prinrose tower, go into EZ Scan and unselect all towered except Primrose snd load that configuration into your TRX-1. If you don’t see signal strength bars & the “T” for trunking, then you aren’t receiving Primrose tower.

So I turned on CC/VC in Settings and will configure scanner now.

These control channels came up on 1OPS33 which I DO RECEIVE.

That's just a very rough approximation of it's coverage. The only way you're going to find out is to program it in. Have you tried programming it in or even the Edgar tower? It can carry Nottawasaga as I've already said.

I frequently hear Nottawasaga 1L-1OPS36. Its definitely working.

Nottawasaga 1OPS36 isn't Wasaga Beach however. That is Alliston/Angus police area. If you want Wasaga Beach area, you are looking for Huronia West OPP 1OPS33
