Ok I understand Aurora OPS38 covers 407/400/404 but which one covers the

410/403 (Port Credit OPS44and Aurora OPS38)?
401 stretch between 427 and Mississauga Rd? (Port Credit OPS44 and Downsview OPS42)?

I guess this is more so for Radar or general occurrences, Major accidents i understand they pull from where ever they can get bodies from..

Port Credit i believe.. that should come from the Britania tower.. but if your north of steeles you might be able to use balinfad also. I know they use cambridge units in that area also..

I am not asking the towers, I asking what units cover what part of the hwys generally...

Did you read the reply?

1. Port Credit was the first thing i said..

2. I made mention of the towers as if you use mowat you get less port credit and almost no cambridge..

3. The last thing i said was Cambridge..

I believe i answered your question the first time, however you failed to read the answer.

As I understand it. Covering is straight forward.
This is the area they units are supposed to patrol and respond to call.

Port Credit detachement covers everything in Peel save Caledon.
They also cover the 401 out towards Guelph to at least Guelph Line.
Eastern borders is Toronto.
South border on the 403 is Dundas.
407 are on t/g 8656, patched with Aurora, 5Lima is the callsign.

So Aurora is the only one covering 407? on regular patrol.. Where is their cut off and who takes over down towards Hamilton on the 407?

The answer to your question might be in your question..

the Hamilton-Burlington Metro area would probably be patrolled by Burlington.. make sense?

The 5Lima units are multi-selected and/or patched with Aurora 5Bravo units.
It would seem that the 5Lima units patrol the entire length of the 407.

Burlington 5Charlie units patrol the 400 series highways in Halton(not the 401) & Hamilton as well as Provincial roads such as HWY 6, 5(west of 6 at Clappisons) & 8.
