OPP in Grey-Bruce with a Boafeng UV-5R

looking to listen to OPP in the Grey Bruce area i have a couple of frequencys for the area with the pl tones... but i cant seem to get anything im listening through a Baofeng UV-5R

Are those the vehicle repeaters and media channels? Thats probably all you'll get without a digital receiver

Can you listen to OPP Beat Repeater channels with a Baofeng radio.....is it just as easy as inputting the frequency and your good to go OR is there some kind of programming needed first?
Sorry Stil trying to figure out what a Baofeng radio can actually do.

Recently I did that in Pickering, and Beaverton. You may only get traffic when they are out of the vehicle, so it might be rare.
