OPP on 416.****

I was Wondering if anyone had heard any OPP activity on 416.2875.
I live in Perth On. (Lanark Cty.) and sometimes hear them on this frequ.
Sometimes is the same conversation as on 410.8625 and other times
is different conversation. Here in Perth it comes in very loud and clear, much
better than 410.8625. Maybe there are other frequs.- just for spesific areas
?????.

Interesting. Have you checked 411.2875 (5MHz down)? Neither
frequency is listed for OPP, but you may have found something.
I'll give it a listen. Also, is it consistantly active, or off and on?

What kind of receiver are you using? There's a chance it's a
spurious response of some other frequency.

Interesting. Have you checked 411.2875 (5MHz down)?

Unfortunately, except for the 413.5375 and 410.4125Mhz repeaters, the OPP have chosen non-standard splits.

However, it's possible they've come up with some different repeater pairs for Zone 2.

The only repeater pair I don't have an input for is the 412.8875Mhz repeater which I believe is BEAT2.

Firstly thank you for your responses. Now just as an update to some of your ???'s. The 416. frequ- does not come on all of the time, sometimes may 10 to 15 times a day. I tried the 411 - 5 down and nothing there at all. I also used several different scanners both radio shack and uniden models with no difference, sometimes the 416. comes on and sometimes not. As was suggested might be a new mobile repeater or is something new for this area. Stilll a mystery but will keep working on it and will post when have new info.
