opp talkgroups in london

Hello i was just curious if someone might be able to steer me in the direction of how i would program talkgroups on a uniden bc250d for the opp in london ontario?

Do you have software? If you use the set that comes with the radio (not the Arc Butel) I can help.

If not do you know which towes and which talkgroups you want?

im not to sure i have entered the frequencys for london but am a bit lost when it comes to the rest, i dont have any software currently for my radio.

Pick the closest site (probably London) and visit the database for the BMR Fleetnet system (http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&action=sysid&sysid=782d). Write down the frequencies for the site and figure out which talkgroups you want to listen to.

Come back to the forum and read the article at the top on programming your scanner.

If you are listening to site 18 (London tower) you should routinely see the Middlesex, Elgin, Chatham/Kent and 1HWY01 talkgroups active. Elgin, Chatham and HWY are usually patched together. You will also occasionally see the Huron and Oxford talkgroups active.
