Newbie here. Can my bc 246T pick up OPP, or, do I need a better scanner? Thanks, K

Just the analog beat repeater and mobile repeaters. You must be in close range.
You'll need a digital scanner to scan the digital fleetnet action.

Is it possible to get MOH off the 246 from the fleetnet? I have programmed my 246 with MOH and everything but for some reason it is setting the tower freq as FM instead of NFM and can't find a way to switch it in either ARC246 or the radio itself... Any suggestions?

Yes, you can listen to the MOH as well as the MTO road crews (Analog) on the BC246T radio.

However, even with the software, VHF trunking will have to be done in FM mode, rather than NFM which the system is.
