Good catch!

According to this post, Cottonwood Heights PD were going to be sharing with Midvale.

That is not to say plans have not changed. Their official start date is only 6 days away.

Listening today, I copied dispatch talking to 10D9 10P18 and K14 and dispatching to 1346E Ft Union which is in Cottonwood Heights. Also copied a fire assist at 1969e Ft Union.

Radio IDs:
16906 - Dispatch
3371 - 10P13
3376 - 53 (From Dispatch "Are you getting your pictures done")
3380
3381
3383
3385
3386
3392 - 10D9
3394
3396
3399
3400 - 10T23
3432 - 10D9 (From Dispatch: "Will you make sure to get your picture done at the office?")
3433
3439
3425 - 10P18
3439
3443 - 10K14

Sounds like we may have hit it! "Pictures Done" is likely for the new ID's

Off topic slightly, in this pic from the fire yesterday you get a good look at the new Cttwd Cars. they were up helping draper out with the evacs.

In monitoring these guys today in Unitrunker I have seen several of them affiliate with TG: 22944 which is not currently identified.

They also all seem to affiliate with Midvale 1 (TG: 23040) when they first turn on their radios and then they change over to Ops 2. This points me toward thinking that they are setup to use the Midvale TG for their dispatch. I am just curious why they aren't doing it now.

There is no way they would use Ops2 long term as that would require reprogramming a ton of radios on the system.

Why are they on Ops 2?

So I think I know why they are on Ops 2...

I have copied several calls, everything from found explosives, stolen goods, body found face down, etc... This area is not usually that busy. In addition all the calls are on Ft Union.

So I think this is training calls and they are not actually responding. To help confirm this, I monitored the SO and they are still dispatching calls in the area.

That would be a logical place for them...

They are using '10' now but that is just their VECC Agency ID. Just Like South Jordan uses '5'.

It would be good to have a listing of those as well. Not sure anybody has ever compiled a list. ...
