Man, It's about time... They were using old Maratracs for the longest. It will be interesting to see how the transition goes.

A remember back over 25 years ago when I lived in Spring Valley off of NY-306 listening to them on 48.22 with my BC-100XL.

I converted an old O&R Motorola Motrac that was on 48.22 that I picked up to 6 meter simplex. Radio worked beautifully with great receive. I remember Eastern Gas on 37.72. Low Band is fast disappearing around here! Hope West Milford NJ hangs on to 37.02 for a while.

Not just them.
Pompton Lakes EMS/Fire, and Riverdale Fire simulcast to 45.48.

Oakland PD has a patch from NJICS to 45.98, and Fire/EMS are still on 46.56.

And West Milford EMS and Fire are still on 45.96, and 46.56.

NParkNJ: do you have a tone for West Milford's use of 46.560?

Actually, I need to retract this.

West Milford EMS is 45.96 no tone(CSQ).
West Milford Fire is 46.38 156.7. Idk where I got 46.56 from. Believe that was an Oakland frequency. However I’ve never heard it used.
