Orange Co.

I was up in Chapel Hill yesterday and took my scanner to listen.

My question is, is Orange County dispatching fire for the county. Carrboro and Chapel Hill.

I have both Carrboro and Chapel Hill fire dispatch talkgroups programmed and never heard anything across them.

The Orange Fire talkgroup was very active along with County Ops 1 as well as Orange Co Sheriff, Hillsborough, Chapel Hill and Carrboro Police.

Just curious if it was one of those deals where they county was dispatching everyhing across one talkgroup.

Any information would greatly be appreciated.
