Does anybody have info on fireground frequencies used? Are there several that they all share or do each fire district have thier own ? Which frequency is used to communicate with fire contrl, I know 154.250 is for Fire Alerts, but how about when units talk to fire control? Thanks

A countywide mess...and no end is in sight.

bob,

Because of a lack of leadership on the part of the County, there are several fireground frequencies in use across the radio spectrum (low band, high band, UHF, UHF-T band, and 800 MHz). For the most comprehensive on-line reference for Orange County, visit http://www.eastcoastscanning.com/viewforum.php?f=41 and click around to see what the different fire districts are doing.

To answer part two of your question...46.220 (PL 123.0 Hz) is used to talk to 36-Control.
