Ordered the BCD396T tonight.

I must be crazy or I really love this hobby. Last week I was got the BCD996T for my base unit and tonight I ordered the 396T. I wanted something that was a handheld version of the 996.

How many others out there have both scanners?

I got both. I'm hoping a future firmware upgrade to the 396 might add some of the new features in the 996, like multi site trunking and temporary lockouts.

Even if the feature set of the 396 does not change it is still one hell of a handheld.
