Orlando Speedworld Scanner Frequencies?!?!

My local dragstrip the Palm Beach International Raceway (formerly known as Moroso's) has closed for good so I'm forced to go elsewhere to fill my need for drag racing. Living in Port St. Lucie it looks like the next closest is Orlando Speedworld up in Bithlo. After extensive searching on google, FCC database and this website I have not found their frequencies. Does anyone that goes to the track bring a scanner and if so, what frequencies are they using? I will be bringing mine for sure tomorrow morning and I would imagine there on UHF. Tomorrow may be a search day on the ole Radio Shack Pro-164.

Seems to be VHF..but could be wrong I like to know as well.

Up in NY (Upstate) the Dirt Tracks and Drag Strips preferred VHF but it seems down here they prefer UHF. I will definitely report my findings.

I recently read they were going to close that dragstrip. That's too bad. I used to go there many years ago. I never been to Orlando Speedworld. We have Homestead-Miami Speedway down here. On Fridays, they turn pit roll into a dragstrip for people to tune and test their toys. It's a little less than a 1000' and fun to just go watch at times. I can't remember the frequency but with my SDS100 or BCD436 on Close Call, it only takes a few seconds to find them. They also do GT racing on some weekends, and they mostly use DMR so a SDS100 is a must to listen.

the best mine has done is a NOAA frequency, in an area with no towers around, and got it at just around 5 miles.
and i have repeated it.

just out of curiosity - i did some poking around both the florida business website lookup and the FCC web pages.... and found ... nothing.

I could not even find a current business license for orlando speed world.... was last filed in 2016.

I didn’t end up going today as I slept in but I will be going at some point soon. And Close Call is a good idea. I may use that. I’m a bit old fashioned and my method is to search blocks of frequencies about 15-20 mins at a time. So I’d start on VHF around business band to rule that out. Then I’d move to UHF. Starting at 450-452, then 452-454 and so one till I got to 470 MHz. A little more time consuming but it works for me. That’s how I found the Dirt Tracks frequencies that I go to.
