Oshawa CACC

Anyone else noticed/receiving duplicate transmissions of the Oshawa CACC North and South Dispatch on TG34720 and TG34736 via the Whitby tower? It is also showing up on UniTrunker. Also coming up on Pontypool tower.

After monitoring for a few hours, duplicate is the wrong term. They are not coming up patched. Seems to be linked via page calls.

CACC console 14973 pages to 37911 then 28226 calls to TG34720. This broadcasts the initial call then the comm continues normally on the south TG.

CACC console 14974 pages to 37912 then 28239 calls to TG34736. This broadcast the intial call then continues the comm on the north TG.

I guess the best way to call it is pre-alert or something like that. This doesn't happen on all calls.

Maybe they're using Call Alerts for station paging now?

That is what I was thinking too. So far it seems, it is just for the rural areas in the north and east. So far.
