oshawa MOH 143.1450

Hi All

I have 3 scanners and only on the bc898t I get data noise constantly on freq #143.1450 that is the contorl channel for EMS oshawa. The other 2 scanners i have are bc8t and bc396t and it works fine on.

Have you checked the user manual (online if you don't have a printed one)?

BC898T supports Moto Type II trunking on VHF (OK).

(1) Have you programmed system as trunked v. conventional (common mistake)?
(2) Does the 898T support CC-only mode and are you trying to do this?
(3) Have you programmed the custom bandplan (base/offset/step) for this system
(not to be confused with fleetmap which is not required)?

thanks i will check all that. all i did was used BUL software and let the downloaded file do its thing
i thought it would have loaded it the right way . i guess not .
