Oswego County LTR Multi-Net

Has anyone had a problem scanning this with a BC-780? I was there yesterday, had everything programmed correctly with the ARC780 software - as per the RR sites info (not talkgroups, though) - and I didn't pick anything up. The scanner would not stop on any transmissions in the trunk mode :-(

Any help would be appreciated.

There is no scanner on the market right now that will trunk track LTR multi-net...that's your problem.
I believe you can program the frequencies as conventional and listen in, but you can not trunk track them.

Have a look at the database record for this system. It has some useful suggestions for scanning it conventionally.

Anyone have a clue as to whats gonna happend with this system with the 800 rebanding. I heard that some of the equipment is not able to change to the new frequencies.

So I understand we are screwed for trunk tracking Oswego's LTR system. I have a PRO097 shoud I just put in the 800 mhz freq's in as FM and hope for the best? Is there any way to assighn talk groups? Just looking for programming help. Thanks

yeah theres nothing, programming it in FM mode scans it like they were conventional freqs. so your scanner isn't decodeing the data to determine the TG ID.
