Other portable receivers matching the range of the Belka?

I'm shopping for a new portable receiver. While SW and SSB are a given, I'd love to get one that covers a wider range of freqs. I'm geeky enough to listen to beacons. :geek: I can live without anything above 30 Mhz, but of course the more, the merrier.

The Belka covers 100 Khz to 30 Mhz. And it's certainly compact and portable. But it's a bit expensive. Are there other portables you'd recommend that cover anything close to the range of the Belka?

For my use case I want a self-contained, battery-powered receiver with an attached (whip) antenna. Not a dongle to use with a laptop, though I realize those SDRs can have wide freq ranges.

I don't understand, i thought the picture i posted was the official website for the Malahit. The radio does not look at all like the link you posted. On this site the DSP2 is out of production and the DSP3 is on pre-order. What am i missing ?
Maybe this will help. MALAHIT DSP2 SDR REVIEW

Thanks for the info. Looks like a nice radio. Too bad it has so few memories for storing frequencies . The official MalahiTeam website is announcing a DSP3. I may wait to see if their will be a legitimate licensed clone for it.
