Otoe County Changes

Good evening, everyone.

The RR database for Otoe County specifies 460.6125 as "Fire East", which is used by Nebraska City Fire and Rescue.

Today and tonight, I have heard a very marked increase in traffic from Otoe County Sheriff Deputies, also on this repeater. In the past, I have heard several NC Fire and Rescue calls use this repeater for call-related traffic, as well.

Can anyone with close knowledge of the Otoe County system confirm whether or not the RR database listings for OCSO and Fire-East are possibly reversed?

I've also considered the possibilty that the OCSO repeater on 453.7625 may not yet be fully constructed and that they are temporarily using the Fire-East channel.

Incidentally, this is the ONLY repeater I've heard OCSO on.

Yes they're in the process of changing quite a bit down there I've heard.

Today, I've been hearing OCSO deputies operating on all three of the Fire repeaters - East, Central, and West.

I wonder if NC Fire/Rescue will move to the single channel which is currently designated for OCSO in the RR database.

The RR DB indicates P25 traffic on the designated OCSO repeater, and whomever submitted the info, apparently made the assumption that both OCSO and NCPD are using the "CSQ" NAC.
