I spent a few hours on the way and in Grove yesterday.
The new NX Ottawa Co system is very active! In 4 hours recording I had 400+ calls. Lots more to figure out but so far:
- TG 8 - disp and c2c - more listening will determine if Miami only or County only. A few RIDs (UIDs to you Uniden people) show up here. RID 1 is "Central" = dispatch,
- TG 10 - "911" per users. This is the busiest TG with ~80% of the recordings. I suppose similar to OKWIN's old Moto system TG 28176 they called "Ottawa Co 911". When they transitioned to P25 OKWIN the TG 1761 (see how it is 28176./16?) was named Ottawa CO DIsp by RR, but I bet the users still called it "911." Several RIDs in the 1500 series show up here, and RID 1 "Central"
- TG 11 "Fire" per user. A few 15xx RIDs show up with a few others. Many seem to be patched/ported thru from the VHF fire freqs.
- TG 12 haven't figured out use yet
The following freqs were heard:
855.5000 RAN 1 Miami
856.0250 RAN 2 Grove
856.4750 RAN 1 Miami
857.0250 RAN 2 Grove
857.4750 RAN 1 Miami
858.2750 RAN 1 Miami
858.4750 RAN 2 Grove
859.2750 RAN 2 Grove
FWIW Grove still uses its own PD DMR S1 cc15 on 460.1125 and its various other UHF freqs. Gotta look closer to see where the "Ottawa County system Grove Site" is located.
I can't hear the system from my house, but while in Grove I heard a unit say "we are out at Mercy Joplin" so they can hit the Miami site from there....which us about a mile from my house.
