I see that Ottawa County is planning to add a new tower site in Put-In-Bay for their P25 TRS. Is this to improve handheld coverage in that area?

I believe the Ottawa County Sheriffs Department has entered into a contractual relationship, with I think, Put in Bay Township to provide law enforcement as opposed to the Put in Bay (Village) Police Department. This would presumably make the 800MHz system more reliable on the islands for the sheriffs dispatch versus the VHF system that the village uses that presumably the county doesn’t have access to use.
