Found this kinda odd in the database.

Frequency Input Tone Description Mode
160.27500 161.35500 110.9 PL "O" Train FM

Didn't think train comm's had pl tones. Is this something new for Ottawa?

Unlike some submissions for Ottawa, this one was completely verified
before submission. If it had been copied from Don Bowlby's site, it would
have TWO errors.

The O-Train is operated by OC Transpo so it is a toss-up between
being classified as rail or OC Transpo. It is not a rail channel in the usual
sense and not surprising that they use CTCSS because the line runs an
urban route which includes the downtown "intemod alley". The tone is
present on the repeater input as well as output.

Yes, I was just curious Dave as to a PL Tone being used on a railway frequency. Makes sense like you say, travelling downtown Ottawa in Intermod Alley. I just found it odd though that a train frequency had a PL Tone on it. That's it, that's all.
