Ottawa to Kingston Radio Service?

Hello.

Would anyone know of a radio service/system that a group could rent/lease for a very short term in order to provide continuous radio communications between Ottawa and Kingston? This is for an upcoming event. Although I do realize that HAM and Ares may provide such a service, would there be an workable alternative?

Are you asking about being able to talk directly between Ottawa & Kingston (ie. long-range), or short-term comms between units (ie. a convoy) that's traveling between Ottawa & Kingston. Either of those are going to have some complexities, I'm sure.
I'd be very curious to hear what you find out from Glentel or CW.
