I'm here a lot
Stayed in Ottawa July 1- July 5 th. I was checking off TG's I was hearing being used on the EDACS system.
One that I came across was 05-081.
This one is not listed in the Ottawa Public Safety System in the database.

What I heard was people relaying sports scores from sites in the city
to release to the media. My guess is that a tournament of some sort
was being played on city owned facilities as the 05 of the AFS #
is usually assigned to a municipal user.
Hope that an Ottawa member may have more info on this.

Anyways, the list was most helpful to have along with me, thanks to those who contributed the info.

Also saw TG 3776(digital MTO ? ) come up on Fleetnet (Ottawa site)
during the weekend.

Another thing, I had my Toronto Public Safety South Zone bank active(unintentionally) up there and it was trunk tracking a system in Ottawa (Christie/Walther ?)
Two tg's that came up were 16 and 1936. That was a suprise !

At times on Canada Day I had 4 or 5 receivers going at once but
the EDACS was closed on FD/EMS. Hopefully you were not outside
unprotected when that storm moved through about 3pm, leaving its mark...

The Ottawa system must have over 200 TGs (over 300 from an older log
but no doubt some are stale). I'd hazard a guess maybe 1/3 to 1/2 are
analog, so probably lots of other undiscovered goodies in there. TG 705 (I
prefer decimal, easier to remember) is not new, logged almost a year ago,
probably a sports facility or inter-facility setup.

Which TPS channel did the Moto system show up on? From the TPS list
I would guess 862.2125 which would be system 4218. Not much activity
there but it was used by the Ottawa Airshow (when there was one...).
TG 16 probably Hudson General aviation at the airport.

The control channel freq. was 862.7125. Checking on the identified
freq. list on the RR Database, that tells me C/W #3 Site-4 South.

I couldn't catch all the radio traffic as some was spoken in French.
Two other busy conventional freq.'s that spoke exclusively French were
153.89 and 411.125.

Thanks for your confirmation Dave.

Ya, I don't know why they'd license the frequency 153.89 over in Ottawa. Perhaps someone else could elaborate. Or not, doesn't really matter.

But it is an EMS Frequency for the Quebec area, again, ALL FRENCH.

I myself have been looking for the EMS Frequencies for the Pontiac region of Quebec. I heard 153.89 only a few times, an not much on there up that way.

411.125 that's an OC Transpo frequency. F1 Main Calling Channel PL 100.0
