Overdue Boater search upper Bay

Currently conducting a search for an overdue boater that left Middle River for an fishing trip in the Upper Chesapeake Bay. Units are on MD Marine 2.

USCG along with other Fire Departments joining in the search due to large possible area to search where he fishes.

Update.

Boater left at around noon and hasn't been talked with, since about 2 PM.

Fireboats reporting rough water and the small search units are returning. Requested more aircraft search assistance.

This person had a lot of health issues and they had left very early in the morning to go fishing. Weird that it took so long to report.

Side note - The area 3 dispatcher dispatching for DNR wanted all units to switch to area 3 for operations, 3xx said negative and to tell the other units to go to Marine 2.
