The last couple of weeks, there have been controlled burns on the Ozark and Ouachita National Forests. I started monitoring the Frequencies I had stored from the ones provided here on these forums. Was not hearing the repeaters, but hearing simplex and Air to Ground both using old freqs analog simplex. I started scanning and found they have moved the repeaters over to P25 digital and changed frequencies (on the ones I was able to receive). Below are some of the freqs I have received. Not sure location on some of them... For those near, start seeing what can be found...

172.275 NAC3E8 Sycamore Mtn Output (was 168.675)
164.150 NAC746 Sycamore input (freq was Air to Grnd)

169.975 NAC 3E8 White Oak
171.4375 NAC293 Unknown

Analog
168.775 NAC1 Weather Updates and More. Not sure if this is the input or output.

Here is link to the old freqs.

So they finally are going P25 nation wide. Starting in the Southern districts instead of the usual west, or east coast areas like the feds usually do. That's AR, MS, confirmed to be popping P25 so far... Probably also TN, LA, AL, GA... Have not looked at NC, SC, VA, KY, FL etc yet...

ONF Law (169.775), for one, has been P25 for years...could be the others have but no one has noticed or reported it.

It appears that both the Sycamore and the 3 Sticks towers are using the same output frequency and NAC's. 172.275 NAC3E8 When the Fire Crew's check in and out, they announce which site they are using. I have only heard them announce 3 sticks a couple of times, but they were on that freq...

Not uncommon, the input would be the same for all repeater, however a different NAC for each
You will likely find the input in the 162-166 Range
