P-25 audio

Working with the Uniden SDS100 here ! Can someone explain this receiving question ? When monitoring scanner in full database or favorite list , noticed that some P-25 transmissions , I cannot here any audio, signal shows4 bars , it will pause on that system,Dept, Channel for a brief time then move onto scanning. Is this a out of range issue, antenna or something else ?

WHat does it say on the bottom right? If it says DAT, its data/control channel - not voice. If it says ENC - its encrypted and "impossible" to monitor

Configure the display to show D-errors and Noise level. It could be encrypted conversations that the scanner immediatly skips, but it could also be that the control channel can be received but the voice channels are compromised by interference and have too low signal, with a high noise level and to many D-errors.

What I am seeing is in bottom right corner is P25 Nac -290h or 463A

These were noted with very little signal strength or none at all

Can you post a link to the system you are trying to monitor? Have you ruled out encryption on those TGs?

Yes no ENC there , must be my range
