P-Tac Control Channel.

Has anybody heard anything like this on P-Tac in Ottawa before or was it just a spurious transmission of some sort?

I managed to record about half the duration.

Sounds like EDACS CC, sort of but not quite???

Certainly not a control channel of any popular technology, that's for sure.

Yeah it was quite a bizzare. Sort of has the EDACS Wide pattern but definitely not the same.

This noise came on for a couple of minutes (around midnight last night ) .
It's not EDACS or any other CC/data format I recognize; just feedback noise
from the repeater locking itself up. It's likely the TX mixing with some other
signal and getting into the input, probably something at the site that needs
fixing.
