P25 Adjust Mode???

What does this function do? I know the default is 11, what happens if I change that number either up or down?

If your P25 Adjust mode is to high above 11 the 396XT will not receive.Try below 11 on your setting and your receive should get better.Play with your setting until you are happy with it.After I played with all of the P25 settings I have found the sweet spot and am very happy.

I agree with W9NEW. My sweat spot turned out to be Manual 7, but Auto 8 works pretty well also. Just got to play around with it. Each of our systems might be a little different.

What do you have your P25 Adjust Level set at? Thanks for your help.

I have mine set to auto using the default setting of:
P25 Adjust mode of 11
P25 Adjust Level of 50
with the new firmware

With the old firmware I was using a manual setting of:
P25 Adjust Mode of 3
P25 Adjust Level of 200

New new auto setting is working a lot better that the old firmware with the auto setting of 3 and 50.
