P25 or what?
NARCC P25 repeaters show K6CHO in Chico, CA on 146.895.
I can hear this repeater very strong here in Olivehurst.
I can copy various P25 repeaters like Beale AFB, Coast Guard on Mt. Diablo very well
with my BCD996T scanner but not K6CHO. So I was wondering if this is an actual P25
repeater or some other modulation scheme. It sounds like P25 in analog but maybe it could
be Mototurbo or Dstar. Hoping someone in Sacramento area with a advanced knowledge in
digital techniques could verify. Will keep trying to contact sysop who is in San Jose according
to QRZ.com.
AREA Repeater Group is where NARCC points to for contact information.
Thanks for your interest.
