What month is it?
I've got my batch files set up correctly and I'm able to decode P25II traffic using 2 RTL-SDRs. I have been able to scan a conventional P25II system successfully (1 RTL-SDR). So I know how (?) to set up an FMP24.scanlist file and use -s instead of -fXXX.XXXX in my batch file - for 1 dongle/conventional.

I'd like to scan 3-4 control channels on a P25 II trunk system. So far, no luck. If I substitute the -s for the -fXXX.XXXXin my batch file, I get an error.

FMP24-CC.bat Works fine:
FMP24 -rc -i1 -o20001 -P0.0 -g65.0 -b12.5 -f854.2875

This one errors:
FMP24 -rc -i1 -o20001 -P0.0 -g65.0 -b12.5 -s
"Mutually exclusive command lines present"
Makes me think this is me not quite knowing what every one of them are.

Using: FMP24.scanlist
854.28750 FM DELAY=2 Seattle/Eastside
854.63750 FM DELAY=2 North King County
854.48750 FM DELAY=2 West King County
851.46250 FM DELAY=2 South King County
859.71250 FM DELAY=2 Three Sisters
858.88750 FM DELAY=2 Kangley

Suggestions / hints on how to successfully scan??

TIA

You're going to miss more traffic than you actually get to listen to by using the scanlist than if you sat on 2 system.

if you want to hear more than one system at a time, buy another dongle

I have 4 (four) already.
Clarify please.

Are you suggesting 2 pairs of dongles, with one of each pair parked on a control freq? (or yes, single dongle monitoring is possible I know also...).
Or......(??)

You have to understand the intent here. New P25II system coming on-line. Current testing and roll-out shortly. I want to monitor 2-4 sites for traffic. Not to actually listen to them during testing. I certainly don't want to devote multiple radios to it, if possible.

Ahh i understand what you're trying to do.

The issue with using the scanlist feature, is that you will either decode the CC until voice is over and then scan again, or you will scan until you stop it - with it not ever actually decoding a CC. I haven't did this for a few months, but mine kept scanning and never got any CC decodes
