How do I program p25 phase 2 radio system into a uniden bcd996p2 scanner manually? I use freescan but I just want to learn how to do it manually. Please email me a map how to Thank You For Your Attn. onegrave@yahoo.com

its so much easier and a lot faster with a software program like proscan and you can download it directly into your scanner in seconds rather than pushing buttons for an hour and making a mistake and need to start over..

I can do that sequence in less than two minutes. I use it when I am out chasing radio signals, get a new system and want it in the scanner. If I want talkgroup names, all the frequencies and different Quick Keys, I download the radio to ProScan later, fill in the remainder of the information and upload to the radio.
Besides, I was answering the original question about doing it manually.
