P25 Pinellas Share your settings

Here are my results in Dunedin area decoding the P25 system for Pinellas.
Uniden 996xt Latest firmware

P25 LP Filter off
P25 Adjust mode 8
P25 Adjust Level 50

Error rates 7 to 0 most often 0

Now here's the trick...I have commercial 800 MHz yagi antenna when using this antenna no matter what I do with settings I get huge error rates wont decode anything ....put the rs 800mhz ant on and get perfect decode.
After extensive testing This works the best for me .

Also on the Home Patrol 1 I find the rs 800mhz ant is best in near horizontal position vert I get no decode.

Same settings. Error rate seems the same (mostly under 10) with no antenna, rs 800 antenna, and 800 yagi antenna-from this location. High squelch causes XT to miss coms, open squelch doesn't miss coms. Edit: site 5 used to be bad from this location. Now site 4 and site 5 come in well, pretty much the same.

There's not much point in sharing my settings (Radio Shack PRO 106) because I can hear almost nothing on the P25 system in spite of having an extremely strong signal. The multipath is atrocious where I live near the St. Pete/Clearwater airport to the point it is unusable.
