To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.
If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

P25 Trunked with Programmer R18

Programmer is a very legacy program to support 700p / Orion and older radios. Those radios don't support P25 Trunking so neither does programmer. For support of XGP code (required for TDMA) you need to be on at least R10B of RPM.

ProGrammer R20C (which I believe is the last release of the software) does support P25 trunking for the P7100 and M7100 radios when using certain code versions. I'm not sure what release support for P25 trunking began though.

- This version reduces the personality size written to the following radios - MRK,ORION,PRISM/LPE, EDACS 500M
- The G-Star Options Dialog box has been renamed to G-Star/Conventional Emergency Options
- Conv-EDACS emergency has been added for the following radios - Jaguar,M7100,P7100,P5100.
- Extended G-Star has been added to allow G-STAR ID's up to 131,071. This options is available for the
following radios - MRK, Orion, Jaguar, M7100, P7100
- Extended Addressing has been renamed to EDACS IP
- Text Messaging has been renamed to Radio Textlink
- Alpha-Numeric G-Star has been added for M7100

Silent Key
R17a did not support P-25 trunking.
R17c has support for P-25 trunking, but was never released to the public, due to the License Key system not being ready yet. It was given to one or two customers to get their systems going.
R18a was the first official release to support P-25 trunking, and had the license key system operational.
