Not trying to make more work for you Todd but it's even worse now...

Switched over to the 700mhz site in my area and its the same... Really weird too because the signal is nice. But the audio keeps breaking up during calls consistently where it didn't used to do that. Again, I am using the testing to help test. I am in no way dissatisfied with the radio :) Love the radio.

_1153 is ready to try. This reverts one change since 4/22 that could affect audio over USB, but not sure why it would be ok with phase 1 and not phase 2. Is the issue with BTConfig playback only or also line-out / Bluetooth?

BT Config only, and I should have clarified - I do not have a P1 to test, so just P2.

Thanks for your help getting that figured out. It may be more of a computer / USB specific issue than a phase 1/2 issue then. I'll make a note of it.

Seems much better Todd!

Also. anybody else in CT using one of these?
If you are still available for testing today, would you mind trying _1306 testing and see if the choppy audio issue returns? I would like to try what should be a universal way to handle the issue.

Todd, I whenevr you get some free time I think you might want to take a look at some stuff when I run the P25rx in a particular area... it might be helpful for P2 testing!

Since it is an issue with BTConfig only, I made some more changes to BTConfig audio (version _1516). I did notice the audio from BTConfig was not as good as the line out. It sounds good now. (only tested on Linux so far).

I am using 1306 on the same system as Cheeseburgers. I have had no issues with the choppy audio on Phase 2 using BTConfig audio. The priority function works good, although I havent had many times when it has kicked in yet.

Thank you for testing _1306. If you do test _1516, let me know if you find that it is a step in the wrong direction, and I will revert back to _1306. Thank you for reporting on P2 TG interrupt. That is the first I've heard anything on that. I'm glad to hear it is working so far. It is a great feature to have an "embedded control channel" contained within the voice channels. I knew this was the case with P2, but I didn't realize that was the case with P1 until somewhat recently.

All the firmware updates after 4/2/0803 have had choppy audio on phase 1 transmissions. It's not always choppy though. The blks per second will drop off abrubtly then go back up. It doesn't do that with the 4/2 firmware.

Can you let me know the first version after 4/2/0803 that had issues for you? There have been a lot of changes since 4/2.

Todd: would you like me to record some Phase 2 P25 audio as a baseband file in SDR Sharp? I can then drop that (about 1 MHz of spectrum including P25 V1 and V2) into a dropbox of your choosing so you can have some P2 to test with. Let me know.

Hey Todd, 1516 did this weird thing where the audio over USB just started repeating, like a record skip BTW.
