I thought these new cables were higher quality. They have been good for me so far. Can you tell if the cable issue is on the P25RX connector side or on the cable side?...the USB-c will not insert all the way.. :-(

I plugged it into my laptop and it inserted fine. I don't suspect the cable., I have two others, same.. plugs into laptop fine. barely into P25.I thought these new cables were higher quality. It is normal for the connector to plug in about half way from being flush with the anodized part. If you plug it in and there is no USB power or communication, then there is a connector issue. Please e-mail and I will issue a return label.I plugged it into my laptop and it inserted fine. I don't suspect the cable., I have two others, same.. plugs into laptop fine. barely into P25.
Hi Yes, tried two computers and three cables. Thanks though.@epersson do you have another computer? I have a nice USB hub that completely died on me, and I have USB ports with the ASMedia chipset that have all been flaky. On the other hand, chipsets from Intel have been reliable. So have USB ports on a PCIe board with dedicated USB high quality chipsets. Quality, reliable USB ports, cables, and hubs have *all* been hard to find for many years, but there are good ones.
No preferred start up process. It should work powering up hardware before or after starting the BTConfig software.Todd,
Quick question off topic....when using a computer to monitor is there any preferred start up or shut down process?
