Thank you for testing! If you mean a delay for the channel dwell time, not yet. It will be an option soon. I allocated lots of free configuration bits per channel configuration so that we can expand the options. Updates, features, and releases should be much quicker now that it is in a usable state. You will probably see several releases per day for a while now. The previous release had issues btw. 2022-04-25_1313 is available.

It's like the good 'ole days Todd, when the firmware updates were coming fast and furious. That type of dedication is what got me interested in the P25RX-II in the first place. Keep up the great work.

Todd,
The new firmware is nice but in my area, the older 2022 03-01 10:07 works MUCH better. The new firmware has a "popping" sound in the rx audio. Thats on the PC speakers and Bluetooth. I moved the AGC step time around with no difference I could hear. I'm monitoring 2 Motorola 800 phase 1 systems, both sound the same. Another observation.. If I have any air band AM+AGC frequencies in a scan list and I'm scanning, The trunked systems stop receiving. They are in the list and the highlight shows they are doing something but they are not rx'ing. The airband freqs sound like they are playing at X2 speed and chopping badly. I don't think it's my set up. I have 2 P25RXII acting the same way. 2022-4-25-1313 is the version I'm using.
Still a FIRM believer in the P25RXII !!.. Happy owner

There have been a lot of issues today. That wasn't a good version. I'm waiting for some confirmation, but 04-25_1433 may take care of the issues. Thank you for testing! Let me know you continue to have issues. I would really love to get the AUTO gain settings working for everyone.

Yes, that is another option that is missing. I will get that done next. Right now, you can't get it to operate like it did before when you want it to "stick" to an active control channel.

There is a new option under Channel Config -> Global Settings tab. This is equivalent to the voice timeout that was in previous versions for the roaming enable option. Set this to 0 for fast scanning. Set it to a higher number to stay on an active control channel. In the coming days, I will have options that will allow automatic adding secondaries, neighbors, and traffic channels by cloning the control channel configuration and changing the frequency and adding a suffix to the name.

I found out that the AM demod mode got really messed up in the last day or two. It is working now!

The issue with "Write Config' not working right and reading the talk groups back is also fixed.

Version 2022-04-25_1611 is available.

Great work today Todd. I'm starting to get the hang of it.
Something else I noticed is in the display view. When a transmission is received the screen goes blank, at the end it will be blank except those that are not marked "clear on no voice". So I ticked to uncheck the clear on no voice option for all items and the entire screen goes blank until the end of transmission and then it displays the info until the next transmission. If I check the option on, the display flashes info very very briefly then goes blank.
It's like a setting for the time to display info isn't synced to carrier on time. See I have been paying attention to my code writing practice, although I haven't had the time for a few weeks.
I hope I explained it correctly.

Thank you. I think the display view issue should be fixed in version 04-25_2136. There is also a new "Find Optimal Fixed Gains" button that can be used to quickly find the gains selected by the auto-gain function. This can be used while scanning is off and monitoring an idle control channel or other active channel. Once the fixed gains are found, then <apply changes> and <sync to receiver>. It is a lot faster than selecting them all manually! Setting channels to fixed gains will result in more reliable scanning performance in a fixed location setting.

Found a bug that has probably caused some confusion. I didn't realize it, but the first channel configuration in the list was not being configured based on the configuration settings. I didn't notice because the first channel in my list wasn't all that noticeable. If you have only one or two channels defined, I'm sure you have been having issues. This has been fixed in version 2022-04-26_0333. There is a new -> pop-out button next to the frequency display. This will pop-out all 3 windows. The status of scanning (enabled/disabled) is now saved when doing a <write config>. This could be handy if you want scanning to start on power-up.

Todd I noticed that when you do a signal search it always stops at 98 to 99% and hangs up not sure if it's a problem.

Thanks. It isn't hanging. It should reset the "progress bar" at the end of the search. I'll get that fixed. If you do multiple iterations, it will reset to 0% after each iteration.

Thanks Todd I will give it a couple of iterations. I see that the scan mode works independently on the reciver without a command as long as you shut down the reciver first. Must have to be saved in scan mode and saved to the p25rx-ll Thanks

There is a new version available. 2022-04-26_0953. This version will end on 100% when the signal search is done. Another requested change is that the full 31 characters for the talk group names are used for the display view / logging ( $TG_NAME$ ).
