I believe I found what was causing P25 P2 (while scanned) issues here. New version available 2022-04-28_1448. Will mark as verified when it can be confirmed.

I have ver 1448 loaded and is working great! Is there a setting where I can cause the channel display to remain until the next channel becomes available? I can’t locate any setting for that purpose….

Thanks for testing. Let me think about how to do that. It would have to be an option where the display could have mixed results from different channels. For example, if you are displaying the current frequency while scanning, would you want to display a TG name that wasn't associated with that frequency or system? I see what you are saying. Maybe you could have a line that displayed something like: LAST ACTIVE TG: ____ and have a keyword for $TG_LAST_ACTIVE$ that would display the TG associated with the last TG to produce audio?

@freqseeker, did you get a chance to try the latest version this evening? I haven't been seeing P2 traffic while scanning since all the latest changes. Everything else is working well. Wondering if you could confirm that P2 traffic was working ok while scanning?
I tried the scanning feature using 04-28_1910. I am scanning one fairly strong P2 and two weak P2 systems and it is working very well. The weak systems are about -108dBm with BLKS in the upper twenties. These weak signals are verified on Uniden SDS200 running on the same antenna. I put in a P25 conventional VHF channel for sh**s and giggles but the trunk systems are too busy and haven't heard any traffic, although when I hold the channel it works fine.
Even the strong system is down about ten dBm tonight, must be the conditions. The audio is outstanding as always.

I think it's working great. I don't scan multiple systems with one receiver very often. The more you scan the less you hear. That's why I have multiple receivers (including a P25RX and P25RXll). It's great that it works so well and believe this will increase sales.
I'm going to try varying combinations of scanning including more VHF and some analog.

Excellent work as always. Thanks.

I'll be adding some more options for scanning that may help to fine tune per channel. Look forward to hearing what happens when you add some more analog channels.

If you have any NXDN96 traffic channels (conventional), would love to know if that option works. It has not been tested and reported by anyone yet. DMR wasn't working with the new software until the latest release. That has only been tested by me so far (that I know of). Anything you are willing to test! Thank you.
Todd, I just ordered a unit. I will test out the NXDN96 for you when I get it. That is the primary reason for me getting this unit. If trunking for NXDN is in the future, that is even better!

I downloaded the most current version last night and gotta say it looks great. Started to play with and started to scan frequencies. I was able to lock on frequencies that I usually listen to but no audio. Played with the squelch, tested the speakers all good, any ideas why I can not get audio even when it locks on a frequency. Knowing me it has to be something simple

Thank you for testing! It could be that you haven't selected the correct demodulation mode for the channel configuration? After you change the config, you also need to press the <apply changes> and <sync channel config to receiver> buttons. If you post an image of signal insights and or the channel configuration of the channel you are having issues with, it might help to figure it out.

This means that you were monitoring TG 53101, then the call ended. At this point, the "Talk Group Timeout" period defined on the Talk Group Editor tab starts counting down in milliseconds (shown in the 3rd # column). It starts being shown here at 665ms, and counts down to 0. During this timeout period, you can see that talk group 53102 is being skipped. Once the timeout reaches 0, then the new talk group voice grant for TG 53102 is accepted, but appears to be right at the end of that call.

By default it should store it under Documents/p25rx/0x_your_mac_idxxx/filename.csv . You can specify a different location though.

@vince48, I think the squelch-tail issue is solved in version 2022-04-29_1011 if you want to test it. It is working here so far. No more noise at the end of analog fire dispatch.

That would be great if you can, but it's still great even without this feature! 👍👍👍

Todd.. One more Squawk..In the Channel Config section.. There are two places that select whether a channel is going to be scanned.. It seems like if one is checked the channel is scanned.. Can one be eliminated or is there a need for having both?
