I have been into browsing the web for free downloads since 2000 and can find just about anything on the internet for free if i look hard enough.
but someone please tell me why Television service Manuals are so hard to get if not impossible
in this age of peer to peer where you can find anything how is it they are so able to keep such a tight lid on TV service manuals.
it baffles me.
i can find them everywhere as a paid download but no where else can i find them.
i have found everything on p2p from tesla patents to amateur radio stuff. things maybe 2% of the population has an interest in. i have even located ham radio and pbx telephone service manuals.
it really is just a curiosity as to how they are able to keep such a tight leash on TV service manuals when they cant seem to do it with anything else.
i have 4 tv's here i am trying to repair. 3 plasmas and an lcd.
2 with definite power supply issues and 2 with definite screen issues. its the one plasma with the screen issue that has me baffled. it is a common problem with plasmas but no one seems able to or seems to want to give me the answer unless i subscribe to a paid to a service tech message forum.
if anyone here thinks they can help i will post a pic of what the screen looks like when tv is powered up.
please no trolling or bashing me for using p2p. most of us do it even though we don't admit to it.
but even the criticizers of p2p use have to admit that is a strange occurrence.
and no i don't bother trying to get software, music or movies from p2p. just electronics related and technical / mechanical related stuff.
let the inevitable bashing begin, but i hope you all will be able to control yourselves and just answer the question at hand without bashing or criticizing.
hell even the federal government is unable to keep that tight of control of their documents. maybe they need to put the group of people responsible for keeping such a tight leash on service manuals on the federal payroll!!!!!
