Looking through license files this week for some info
and notice these state licenses not in the RRDB. I have
not heard any activity on these and don't know if these
were ever constructed.
These sites have been licensed in the past year. Would
appreciate input on any activity heard.
All sites are licensed as 8K10F1D, 8K10F1E & 9K80D7W

I don't think anything will be on the air until early next year at the soonest. First testing is supposed to be in NW PA to test interference with Canada above Line A.

What is the NAC to these. I hear a 151.025 (I don't have scanner splintered for VHF right now).

Hear a P25 CC on that frequency with bad signal in Pittsburgh. NAC is 89A.

Interesting. Maybe testing will begin in fiscal year 2016 rather than calendar year 2016. Do these transmitters seem to identify regularly?

There are similar licenses for every county (often multiple licenses in the same county).

I haven't timed them, but they seem to Id about every thirty minutes or so.

It's been a while since anyone has posted on here. Are these just the VHF overlay for the state and there's a separate list for UHF?

No, this is some kind of completely new VHF P25 system. The PASTARNet SOP is available on PSP's website that describes the VHF overlays, and it only uses one frequency for that, the NEPF channel (155.475 MHz).

These will be sites for the P25 Phase 2 upgrade that is being rolled out over the next few years. As has been mentioned before, testing is supposed to start in NW PA in 2016.

Looking through FCC today trying to find PSP trunked near me in Northampton County I found this info.

More than likely yes. Don't expect to hear anything until at least next year when testing begins - and even that will start out in the northwest part of the state so it might be longer than that.
