I dont have the time to read 105 pages im taking care of my father who has dementia and Parkinsons , instead of putting him in a home somewhere I decided to do this ,takes up all of my free time . So instead of busting someones balls about not reading just answer the question .

You didn't have to read all 105 pages. The title of the thread makes it clear that this is a P25 Phase 2 System. You managed to find my post mentioning the site at Dingmans Ferry, but didn't look at Pike County in the database to see the trunked system listed at the bottom of the page?

Most of us don't take kindly to being told to "just answer the question", especially when the information you were seeking was pretty quick and easy to find.

It takes just as much to answer nicely as it does in a negative way, Your post was pretty recent i didnt have to go back that far . for some reason i had trouble finding it in the data base .... So hang me for it . smh

I wasn't trying to hang you for asking, and I'm sorry to hear about your father. In fairness, I do think that I provided you with the link that likely answered your question as to what system Dingmans Ferry was part of.

The actual move to the new system seems to be up to individual offices of individual agencies. I know a guy who works for PennDOT Butler, and while most surrounding counties are on the new system, they're still on OpenSky.

Erie county had the new system almost 2 years ago, and the DCNR on Presque Isle is still on OpenSky. Sad. Many such cases!

Hi I need a little bit of help.. I just programmed into my scanner the two Lehigh and the two Monroe county systems. I know Nobody has posted the other talk groups for these areas exception for the PSP. So I was wondering what other areas would I be able to here with this new system so I can listen to PennDOT and what areas of the game commission should I be able to hear from Easton Pennsylvania? Can somebody copy and paste what I should be able to listen to and what other counties I should put in this radio so I can actually hear something besides always just leaving it on an ID search and wait for something to pop up. Thanks

ID Search is your best bet, the system is still under construction and a complete and accurate list of talkgroups isn't available, and is subject to change.

Collaboration between members here; has provided the info that you'll find; if you follow this link and it's sub-heading links.

that's it, with the exception of the official RRDB page.
And I'll take this grand opportunity to point out that nearly every RRDB system has a working wiki page.

What game commissions from where I live in North Hampton County and also what PennDOT should I be able to hear
In Northampton county you should hear the PGC SE Dispatch 1 and the other PGC SE region channels. As far as PennDOT you probably wont hear much of anything because only the western part of the state seems to have switched to the P25 system however they are slowly moving east.

PennDOT has gotten as far east as Lancaster & York Counties.. (So far).. It's all documented in the wiki for those that take the time to look it over.. (y) It would appear that NE PGC (Dallas) may be up and running in a limited form..

Today Adams & Franklin DOT TG's were found and added by a collaborator.. :giggle:

Thank You, I watch for everything.. :giggle: (including DCNR  )
I'll add the new TG's to the wiki.. (y)
Anybody else sitting on some data that will further the cause?
If you post it here.. It'll get into the wiki for all to benefit..

Negative, just a couple of random keyups.
Seems like they're trying to make a liar out of me. Caught a few transmissions on TG 12042 at PIKE31 a little while ago between a PGC unit and what appears to be NE Dispatch.

It's all moving quickly (or at least beyond the typical speed of government). Stop listening for a day or two and bam, you miss a change. ;-)

Indeed. Good for them, the quicker they migrate everyone off of OpenSky, the better for all concerned. It seems that PSP Blooming Grove have fully migrated as of a few days ago.

Ironically, after the countless times I've posted about this, I occasionally even have to remind myself that no unit is affiliated with a particular site = no activity on that talkgroup. I suspect that PGC NE units might be affiliated with other sites in the area, just not the one that I happened to be tracking and monitoring. ;)

I talked to two young troopers yesterday at a pizza place in Harrisburg and asked how they liked their new radios. They gave a "meh" response and I asked further questions. They said the new system has its own coverage problems in areas they wouldn't expect dead zones. They both said they consistently get bonked on 81 in Dauphin County. They look forward to testing it at the farm show where they historically had issues with Opensky.
